As part of comprehensive outreach efforts to clinicians, AE电子 recently participated in Tennessee Women in Medicine鈥檚 鈥淏eyond the Buzz鈥 session on artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare. The company鈥檚 Global Head of AI and Connectivity Liz Asai and Senior AI Product Manager Elektra Alivisatos presented to a diverse group of female clinicians from a wide range of subspecialities.
Tennessee Women in Medicine is a network of women practitioners who come together for education and overall growth in their careers. The 鈥淏eyond the Buzz鈥 session featured a robust conversation about the transformational effects of AI in healthcare, including a variety of examples that showed how AI can enable accuracy, efficiency and inclusivity 鈥 all ultimately helping to enhance patient care. The audience of clinicians engaged in a thoughtful Q&A discussion about AI algorithms, the FDA outlook on this field and applications of AI in mammography.
鈥淧hysicians who are open to learning about AI will better position themselves and their subspecialties to leverage technology to enhance clinical care. It's important to engage with industry leaders to provide clinical guidance and embrace early adoption to ensure AI tools provide clinical value.
